Step 1: Setting up your Otto Account for the OttoFleet Tracking and Reporting Service
After purchasing the iPhone application from the App Store, set up your Otto Account. An account is required to use the OttoFleet services. The account is set up with an e-mail address and account password that you select.
- Launch the OttoFleet mobile application on your iPhone
- Go to MyOtto (bottom menu, right hand side)
- Select Otto Account
- Select Create Account
- Enter email address (the key User ID) and password and select Done.
After the account is set up, select your home coverage map if there is one in your area. If there is no coverage map for your area, you can select any other map, or just continue without a coverage map. The maps contain speed limits and other safety zones and are used for in-vehicle driving assistance. In those areas where no coverage maps exist, this functionality is not provided.
This account registers the OttoFleet Mobile application on your iPhone for use with the OttoFleet service.
The service requires a subscription. The subscription is managed using a separate account. Go to “Step 2 – Setting up the OttoFleet Service Subscription” for instructions on how to request the free trial period for testing and examining the location tracking and reporting functionality, and how to subscribe to a monthly service should you desire to proceed with the service after the trail period is completed.
